What to expect
Ohio Street Beach is an urban beach located in the Streeterville neighborhood, adjacent to Jane Addams Memorial Park and the Jardine Water Filtration Plant. The beach faces north, making it an ideal training site for open-water swimming. It offers access to the Lakefront Trail and features restrooms, locker/changing facilities, concessions, and umbrella and chair rentals. The beach is also home to a public art installation called 'House' and hosts various swimming events, including the Open Water Fun Swim and the CPD Open Water Series Swim Meet. Visitors can enjoy swimming, picnicking, and relaxing in the nearby Jane Addams Memorial Park, which offers plenty of green space and shade
