Idaho Falls

Idaho Falls is the fourth most populous city in Idaho and the county seat of Bonneville County. It is the state's most populous city outside the Boise metropolitan area. The city serves as the commercial, cultural, and healthcare hub for Eastern Idaho, as well as parts of western Wyoming and southern Montana. Idaho Falls is home to the College of Eastern Idaho, Museum of Idaho, Idaho Falls Idaho Temple, and the Idaho Falls Chukars minor league baseball team. The city has a rich history, with the area first being settled by cattle and sheep ranchers in the mid-19th century. The present-day site of Idaho Falls became a permanent settlement when a timber-frame toll bridge was built across the Snake River in 1865.
