Kapuna Beach

Hāpuna Beach State Recreation Area is a large park and sandy beach on the Big Island of Hawaii. The beach is popular with residents and visitors and is known for its white sand and clear waters. It offers good conditions for swimming, bodyboarding, sunbathing, and snorkeling. The park has lifeguards, but can be hazardous during high surf conditions. The area is also home to the Hāpuna Beach Prince Hotel and is located near other notable beaches such as Kua Bay, Manini'owali Beach, and Kaunaʻoa Bay.
