The Sugar Cane Train, also known as the Lahaina, Kaanapali and Pacific Railroad, is a 6-mile narrow-gauge heritage railroad in Lahaina, Hawaii. The train offers a 40-minute trip in open-air coaches pulled by vintage steam locomotives, passing through fields of cane and offering panoramic views of neighboring islands and the West Maui Mountains. The railroad has a rich history, dating back to 1969, and has been a popular tourist attraction, hosting various events and activities, including weddings and holiday trains. Although the train is currently not operating, it remains a significant part of Lahaina's history and a nostalgic reminder of the island's sugar cane era
