The UGA Marine Education Center and Aquarium is a public aquarium showcasing Georgia's marine life. The aquarium features representatives of about 50 species of marine life from coastal Georgia. Visitors can explore the exhibits, including a walk on the Jay Wolf Nature Trail that winds along the Skidaway River and through a maritime forest, or enjoy a picnic on the bluff. The aquarium also offers Summer Marine Science camps, volunteer opportunities, and group visits. One of the highlights is the 'Friday Feedings' event, where visitors can observe aquarium staff feeding ambassador animals. The facility has educational exhibits, lecture rooms, teaching laboratories, and research laboratories, making it a great place for families to learn about marine life
