What to expect

The Serengeti Express is a 3 ft narrow gauge heritage railroad and amusement park attraction located within the Busch Gardens Tampa Bay amusement park. The railway is about 2.2 miles long and has stations in the Nairobi and Stanleyville sections of the park. It uses three trains pulled by one of four 4-4-0 type steam locomotives. The train ride gives a great view of the large free-roaming herds of African animals, including giraffe, zebra, antelope, ostrich, and much more. The ride is kid-friendly and suitable for families, with a smooth and gentle experience. It's a great way to take in the breathtaking beauty and scale of Busch Garden's Serengeti Plain
