St. Pete Beach is a coastal city in Pinellas County, Florida, known as a tourist destination. The city has a total area of 6.96 sq mi, with 2.13 sq mi of land and 4.84 sq mi of water. St. Pete Beach's downtown is centered on Corey Avenue, which contains bars, restaurants, and shopping and retail outlets. The Pass-a-Grille Historic District and the historic Don CeSar beach resort are located at the southern end of the beach. The city has been named the number one beach in the US and the number five best beach in the world. Visitors can enjoy the beach, go snorkeling, or visit the RumFish Grill, which features three enormous aquariums. The city also has several parks, including Horan Park, Egan Park, and Ron McKenney Park, which offer peace and quiet.
