Cinderella Castle is a fairy tale castle at the center of the Magic Kingdom theme park in Orlando, Florida. The castle is 189 feet tall and was completed in July 1971 after approximately 18 months of construction. It is designed to reflect the late-Gothic, flamboyant style of the 1400s and is made of concrete, steel, cement, plaster, and fiberglass. The castle has 13 gargoyles on the outside and 18 towers with corresponding spires. It is a main symbol of The Walt Disney Company and a popular spot for photographs. The castle has undergone various transformations over the years, including a royal makeover with a new color scheme and a birthday cake design for Walt Disney World's 25th Anniversary
