HistoryMiami Museum is a premier cultural institution and Smithsonian Affiliate located in Downtown Miami, Florida. The museum is committed to gathering, organizing, preserving, and celebrating Miami's history as the unique crossroads of the Americas. It accomplishes this through exhibitions, city tours, education, research, collections, and publications. The museum features four permanent galleries, including Tropical Dreams: A People's History of South Florida, and up to three traveling exhibits. It also houses the Archives and Research Center, the South Florida Folklife Center, the Education Center, and City Tours program.
