The Gold Coast Railroad Museum is a railroad museum located in Miami, Florida, adjacent to Zoo Miami. It was founded in 1956 and is one of three Official State Railroad Museums in Florida. The museum houses over 40 historic rail cars, including the Presidential Rail Car 'Ferdinand Magellan' and the Florida East Coast Steam Locomotive #153. It also features a model railroad room, a Naval Air Station Richmond exhibit, Thomas play tables, and multiple displays of rail equipment. The museum offers train rides and has a collection of model railroad equipment. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and exhibiting historic railroad equipment and promoting railroad history.
