South Pointe Park is a 17-acre county urban park located in the South Beach neighborhood of Miami Beach, Florida. The park offers various features, including a restaurant, frozen yogurt concession, kids area, a dog park, and outdoor showers. It has a beach with colorful lifeguard towers, umbrella and beach chair rentals, and is a popular spot for locals to surf, play volleyball, and paddleboard. The park also has a 450-foot pier, a mini water playground, a jungle gym, and lush landscaping. Additionally, it features a grand esplanade along Government Cut, a beach dune restoration area, children's playground, interactive spray water feature, and a park pavilion. The park is highly used and contributes greatly to attracting new development and a growing renaissance of the South Beach neighborhood

Activities: We spent several hours playing on the sugar-soft white sand, breakfasting on classic hotdogs from a stand, admiring the brightly painted lifeguard stands, and watching the colourful seabirds and the seaplanes with their advertising banners flapping across the bluest of skies.
