The district contains 960 historic buildings, including hotels, commercial strips, and residential areas, showcasing a range of styles such as Art Deco, Streamline, Tropical, and Med-deco. The area is known for its vibrant colors, geometric lines, and curves, and features many notable buildings, including the Amsterdam Palace, the Victor, and the Carlyle. The district is also home to the Miami Beach Art Deco Museum and offers walking tours to explore its historic architecture
