What to expect

The Turtle Hospital is a rehabilitation facility for sick and injured sea turtles. The hospital has a large enclosure with 23 individual tanks, a tidal pool, and a separate area for hatchlings and smaller patients. The facility also has a 100,000-gallon saltwater pool for permanently disabled sea turtles and 'Hurricane Tanks' for safety during tropical storms. The hospital's mission is to rescue, rehab, and release sea turtles, as well as educate the public and conduct research. Visitors can take a guided 90-minute educational program to learn about the hospital and its patients
