What to expect

Honeymoon Island State Park is a beautiful barrier island with over four miles of beach and a three-mile trail through a virgin slash pine forest. Visitors can enjoy swimming, fishing, shelling, hiking, and bicycling, making it an ideal getaway for families. The park is also the ferry terminal for access to Caladesi Island State Park. The Rotary Centennial Nature Center offers exhibits on the park's history and natural resources, and visitors can learn about the park's unique features, such as its mangroves, starfish, sand dollars, and marine invertebrates
