What to expect

Henderson Beach State Park is a beautiful destination with pristine white sugar sand beaches and over 6,000 feet of natural scenic shoreline bordering the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The park features sand pines, scrub oaks, and dune rosemary, and boardwalks provide access to the beach for swimming, sunbathing, and fishing. There are pavilions for picnicking and grilling, a playground, and a nature trail that offers a glimpse of the coastal dune ecosystem and abundant wildlife. The park also has camping facilities with 60 campsites, including water and electric hookups, and access to air-conditioned and heated bathhouse facilities. The beach is A.D.A accessible and includes beach wheelchair availability, making it a great place to visit with family and friends
