Treasure Falls is a waterfall in the San Juan Mountains, with a 105-foot cascade into Falls Creek, which connects to the San Juan River. The falls are named after a local legend about buried gold in the mountain. A short, moderately steep hike of about 300 feet of elevation gain brings visitors to the base of the falls, where a footbridge offers a viewing area. A switchback trail leads to the 'Misty Deck' for a closer view and feel of the falls' spray. The area is suitable for families, with a well-maintained trail and scenic views. Visitors can also spot rainbows formed in the plunge mist on sunny days
