Rifle Falls State Park is a 48-acre park located in Garfield County, Colorado, featuring a triple 70-foot waterfall flowing over a travertine dam on East Rifle Creek. The park offers campsites, picnic sites, and 2.0 miles of hiking trails, with opportunities to spot wildlife such as mule deer, elk, coyote, and golden-mantled ground squirrel. Visitors can also explore limestone caves and see three species of bats. The park is accessible and scenic, with a relatively flat path to the falls and a short hike to the top of the falls, offering a lovely view. The park's diverse habitats attract various bird species, and visitors can spot northern goshawks, bald eagles, and other birds
