What to expect

Treasure Falls is a 100-foot waterfall located near Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The falls are accessible via a short, 1/4 mile hike from the parking area, which is visible from Highway 160. The trail is well-maintained and features a series of dirt switchbacks up the side of a densely forested hill. The views at the top are exceptional, and visitors can feel the spray from the falls at the Misty Deck. The hike is great for families and is considered easy, with benches to rest along the way. The falls are surrounded by folklore and legend, with stories of buried gold and Frenchmen being pursued by Spaniards or Native Americans. Visitors can enjoy the view from the highway or take the short hike to the base of the falls
