What to expect

The Rocky Mountain Wildlife Park is a great place for families to visit and learn about native Colorado wildlife. The park is home to animals such as elk, bear, cougar, wolf, grizzly, and bobcat, all of which are non-releasable due to various reasons. Visitors can take a self-guided tour along the half-mile trail and attend a daily live feeding tour, which provides an opportunity to learn about the animals from one of the animal caretakers. The park also offers summer horseback trail riding, suitable for children and first-time riders, and features one of the largest art galleries in Pagosa with originals, Glicee, and signed prints by many amazing artists
