Lower Cascade Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in Ouray, Colorado. The falls are easily accessible via a short, moderately steep ¼ mile walk from the parking lot. The Ouray Trail Group has built a small shelter near the base of the falls, and this same group of volunteers maintains the trail to the waterfall. The short trail to the waterfall intersects the popular Perimeter Trail, an approximately five-mile loop trail that surrounds Ouray. Visitors can enjoy the stunning views, take a close encounter with the waterfall, and feel the spray and the power of the cascading water. The area is also popular for hiking, birding, and mountain biking, making it a great destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The falls are a delightful and spectacular sight, and visitors will want to allow ample time to sit by the creek and take in the scenery
