Box Canyon Falls is a developed waterfall attraction situated in Ouray, Colorado, showcasing an 85-foot cascade of water down Canyon Creek. The park offers three interpretive trails, including the easy 500-foot Falls Trail, the moderately difficult High Bridge Trail with stunning views of the town and the Amphitheater Cirque peaks, and the short Native Plant Loop with plant markers to help identify local flora. The park is home to a significant colony of Black Swifts, recognized by the National Audubon Society as a birding hot spot. The park features a visitor center with interpretive exhibits describing the geology, wildlife, and history of the area, as well as picnic areas and unforgettable sightseeing opportunities. No dogs are allowed in the park
