Dinosaur Ridge is a segment of the Dakota Hogback in the Morrison Fossil Area National Natural Landmark, featuring a variety of dinosaur fossils and tracks. The site offers guided bus tours, interpretive signage, a small Exhibit Hall with geological and paleontological displays, a Discovery Center, and a gift shop. Visitors can explore the outdoor exhibits along a closed section of West Alameda Ave, which follows a paved road that climbs about 700 feet from the main visitor center to the high point along the ridge backbone. The walk is about 2 miles round-trip, taking approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours. The area is home to fossils of well-known dinosaurs, including Stegosaurus, Apatosaurus, Camarasaurus, Diplodocus, and Allosaurus. A discount pass is available to visit both Dinosaur Ridge and Morrison Natural History Museum, making it a great place to visit with family and friends
