What to expect

Rainbow Falls, also known as Graffiti Falls, is a waterfall located in Manitou Springs, Colorado. The falls are 45 feet tall and are situated on Fountain Creek. The area surrounding the falls features a unique geological formation known as the Great Unconformity, where nearly 500 million years of rock is missing from the geologic record. Visitors can see examples of this phenomenon, including Pikes Peak granite and the overlying Sawatch Formation. The falls are also home to fossils of marine animals, such as trilobites, crinoids, and brachiopods, which can be found in the Manitou Limestone. The area is pet-friendly and offers a short, easy hike to the falls. The waterfall creates a beautiful rainbow mist, making it a great spot for families to visit and enjoy the natural beauty of the area
