The Clear Creek Ranger District manages approximately 200,000 acres in four different counties, offering various activities such as mountain biking, road cycling, campground camping, dispersed camping, and lake and pond fishing. Visitors can explore the historic town of Idaho Springs, which features a National Historic District, the ARGO Mill and Tunnel, and the Idaho Springs Heritage Museum and Visitor Center. The area is also home to natural hot springs, including the Indian Hot Springs, which offers overnight lodging, an indoor pool, and private baths. Families can enjoy a stroll down Miner Street, visit the confluence of Chicago Creek and Clear Creek, and take a drive up the scenic 'Oh My Gawd Road' to enjoy the views of Mount Blue Sky and the Continental Divide
