What to expect

The Snowshoe Hare Trail is a 3.0-mile loop trail located in Golden Gate Canyon State Park, suitable for hiking, birding, and fishing. The trail starts at the Aspen Meadow campground and takes you past Dudes Fishing Hole, a great place to relax. It's a moderately challenging route, open year-round, and dogs are welcome on a leash. In the winter, the trail is great for snowshoeing, and the park offers other winter activities like cross-country skiing
