Snowshoe Hare Trail

The Snowshoe Hare Trail is a 3.0-mile loop trail located in Golden Gate Canyon State Park, suitable for hiking, birding, and fishing. The trail starts at the Aspen Meadow campground and takes you past Dudes Fishing Hole, a great place to relax. It's a moderately challenging route, open year-round, and dogs are welcome on a leash. The trail is part of a larger network of trails in the park, with over 35 miles of hiking trails, including trails for horseback riding and mountain biking. In the winter, the trail is great for snowshoeing, and the park offers other winter activities like cross-country skiing
