Mines Museum of Earth Science

The Mines Museum of Earth Science is a geology museum that showcases a vast collection of rocks, minerals, fossils, and other Earth Science-related objects. The museum features over 15,000 square feet of exhibits, including an indoor cave, a collection of minerals that glow, and a beautifully restored mining mural. One of the highlights of the museum is the Miss Colorado Crown, which contains over 600 gemstones and 21 diamonds. The museum also has a collection of lunar samples from the Apollo 15 and 17 missions, as well as an impressive assortment of fluorescent minerals.
