What to expect

Rattlesnake Gulch is a scenic area in Eldorado Canyon State Park, offering a moderately challenging 3.7-mile loop trail with stunning views of the canyon and eastern plains. The trail leads to the remains of the historic Crags hotel, 600 feet above the trailhead, and continues as a loop to a view of the Continental Divide and railroad tracks, 1,200 feet above the trailhead. The area is popular for hiking, birding, and mountain biking, with well-maintained trails and gorgeous views throughout. Dogs are welcome on leashes
