Crested Butte Mountain Resort is a ski resort located in Gunnison County, Colorado. The resort is known for its steep and extreme terrain, with legendary runs that have trained Olympians and hosted International Freeskiers and Snowboarders Association events. The resort offers a variety of trails for skiers of all levels, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced runs. The resort also features unique tree skiing, with tight and technical tree runs, mostly consisting of aspen trees. Beginner tree skiers can practice on wide-spaced green tree runs, while expert skiers can challenge their skills on the many nooks and crannies of the mountain. The resort has a vertical drop of 3,055 feet and a top elevation of 12,162 feet, with 121 trails and 14 lifts, including high-speed quad chairs and T-Bars
