What to expect

The Chasm View Nature Trail is a 0.8-km loop trail that offers breathtaking views of the canyon walls and the rim of the canyon. The trail is considered moderately challenging and takes an average of 14 minutes to complete. It's a popular spot for birding, camping, and hiking, but dogs are not allowed. The trail provides the same views as the South Rim, but from the opposite side, and is less crowded. Visitors can enjoy solitude during quieter times of the day, and the best times to visit are from March to October
