The Kit Carson County Carousel is a historic, fully restored carousel featuring hand-carved and painted wood animals crafted by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company in 1905. The carousel is housed in a 12-sided building and is accompanied by a Wurlitzer Monster Military Band Organ. With 46 hand-carved animals, including horses, deer, and other creatures, and four chariots, the carousel is a unique and exciting experience for visitors of all ages. The carousel is a national historic landmark and one of the finest surviving examples of a wooden carousel from the early 20th century
