Aurora Reservoir is a 31,650 acre-foot reservoir located in the far southeastern reach of Aurora, Colorado. The reservoir provides drinking water to the City of Aurora and is also a recreation area, offering many amenities for an outdoor adventure. Visitors can enjoy fishing, kayaking, boating, swimming, paddle boarding, and more throughout the year. The eight-mile trail around the reservoir is open year-round for biking and walking. The reservoir also features a small swim beach, boat dock, rental equipment shack, SCUBA diving beach, and archery range.
