Glacier Point is a scenic overlook in Yosemite National Park, California, offering a commanding view of Yosemite Valley, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, and the high country. The point is accessible by a short, paved, wheelchair-accessible trail from the Glacier Point parking and tour unloading area. The trail leads to a point 3,214 feet above Curry Village, on the floor of Yosemite Valley. The area also offers various activities such as cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and snowboarding during the winter months. The Glacier Point Road is groomed beyond the Badger Pass Ski Area, allowing cross-country skiers to follow the road for 10.5 miles to Glacier Point. A ski hut is available in winter with a reservation, or visitors can camp with a wilderness permit
