What to expect

Bridalveil Fall is one of the most prominent waterfalls in Yosemite Valley, California. The waterfall is 188 meters in height and flows year-round. It is a plunge waterfall that plunges 620 feet into the valley. The primary source of Bridalveil Fall is Ostrander Lake, some 16 kilometers to the south. In a brisk wind, the falling water is often blown sideways, and when the flow is light, it may not reach the ground directly below. The trail to Bridalveil Fall is open year-round and is wheelchair accessible. Leashed pets are allowed on this trail. The waterfall is a great place to visit with family and friends, offering a short hike to the base of the fall and stunning views of the surrounding valley
