What to expect
Crissy Field is a scenic waterfront park in San Francisco, offering stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay. The park features a flat, hard-packed promenade perfect for walking or biking, as well as beaches, picnic tables, and tidal marsh overlooks. Visitors can enjoy renowned windsurfing, and the park is also a great spot for bird watching, with over 135 species of birds identified in the area. The Crissy Field Center and the Warming Hut offer educational programs and visitor services, and the park has been restored to include native plants and habitats. Families can enjoy the Outpost play space, where kids can swing, climb, and crawl on huge play structures made from natural materials. The park is also home to the Western Snowy Plover, a threatened small shorebird, and offers a wildlife protection area
