SMUD: Museum of Science and Curiosity

The SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity is a science center that sparks imagination and curiosity in visitors of all ages with hands-on interactive exhibits and programming. The museum explores the wonders of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math, with exhibitions addressing global and local issues on topics such as energy, health, water, nature, space, and design engineering. The state-of-the-art planetarium theater screens spectacular star shows and feature films. The museum has various galleries, including Health Headlines & Innovations, Building Sacramento, Nature Detectives, Powering Change, Water Challenge, Destination Space, Design Lab, and the UC Davis Multiverse Theater. The museum is fully accessible to all who use wheels to get around and has informal accommodations for guests with cognitive or autism spectrum needs, as well as assistive listening in the Planetarium
