Switzer Falls is a scenic hiking destination located in the San Gabriel Mountains of California. The hike to the falls is approximately 3.6 miles out-and-back and is considered moderately challenging. The trail follows the Gabrielino Trail and takes you along a babbling brook, through historic ruins, and to a pristine waterfall. The area is popular for hiking and offers stunning views, diverse water crossings, and a lovely creek. The trail is open year-round and is suitable for dogs on a leash. Highlights of the hike include the 50-foot high Switzer Falls, as well as the option to explore the nearby Bear Canyon.
