The trail is moderately challenging and takes approximately 51 minutes to complete. It's a popular area for birding and hiking, and dogs are welcome on a leash. The best time to visit is during the rainy season, especially in the spring months. The trail has steep inclines and ticks, but it's also shaded and easily accessible. The park has restrooms, a self-guided nature trail, camping, and group picnic sites. The Waterfall Loop Nature Trail is 1.6 miles long, with an elevation gain of 616 feet, and takes about 2 hours to complete with plenty of stops.
