What to expect

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a landmark consisting of 2,800 five-pointed terrazzo-and-brass stars embedded in the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles. The stars are monuments to achievement in the entertainment industry, bearing the names of a mix of actors, musicians, producers, directors, theatrical/musical groups, fictional characters, and others. The Walk of Fame is a popular tourist attraction, receiving an estimated 10 million annual visitors. It features a variety of stars, including those for motion pictures, television, audio recording or music, radio, theater/live performance, and sports entertainment. Visitors can find stars of well-known celebrities, including Oscar-winners, in front of iconic locations such as the TCL Chinese Theatre and the Dolby Theatre
