What to expect

The Getty Center is a campus of the Getty Museum and other programs of the Getty Trust, featuring pre-20th-century European paintings, drawings, illuminated manuscripts, sculpture, and decorative arts, as well as photographs from the 1830s through present day. The center also includes outdoor sculpture displayed on terraces and in gardens, including the large Central Garden designed by Robert Irwin. Among the artworks on display is the Vincent van Gogh painting *Irises*. The Getty Center is a great place for families to visit, with something for everyone: art, modern design, unique gardens, and spectacular city views. The center offers special offerings for groups of 15+ visitors and family visits, and provides a free app, GettyGuide, to guide visitors through the museum
