What to expect
Pelican Point is a part of Crystal Cove State Park, which features 3.2 miles of beach, 2,400 acres of backcountry wilderness, and an offshore underwater area. The park has a federally listed Historic District with 46 vintage rustic coastal cottages. Visitors can enjoy hiking, tidepool exploration, and camping. The park's backcountry has over 15 miles of trails, and the coastal portion features a 2.5-mile paved trail. The Moro campground offers hookup and non-hookup sites, as well as primitive hike-in camping. The park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including coyotes, bobcats, and numerous species of birds
