The Birch Aquarium at Scripps is a public aquarium located in La Jolla, California, and serves as the public outreach center for Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego. The aquarium houses more than 3,000 animals representing over 380 species and offers stunning views of La Jolla Shores and the Pacific Ocean. With a variety of exhibits, including the Hall of Fishes, the aquarium provides an engaging experience for visitors of all ages. Although some exhibits may be closed during renovations, the aquarium continues to offer new experiences, such as Embodied Pacific: Ocean Unseen, Riveropolis, and Coral Classroom
