The Forestiere Underground Gardens is a unique and fascinating place, featuring a series of subterranean structures built by Baldassare Forestiere over a period of 40 years. The gardens are a testament to Forestiere's ingenuity and creativity, with 65 rooms, including a summer bedroom, a winter bedroom, a bath, a functional kitchen, a fishpond, and a parlor with a fireplace. The gardens also feature a variety of fruit-producing trees, shrubs, and vines, some of which are over 100 years old. The underground micro-climates and temperature variations of 10 to 20 degrees make it an interesting place to explore.
