What to expect
Paramount Ranch is a historic movie ranch located in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. The ranch has been used as a filming location for many movies and TV shows, including Westerns, horror movies, and international dramas. Visitors can explore the ranch's scenic trails, which offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The ranch is also home to a variety of wildlife, including red-tailed hawks, acorn woodpeckers, coyotes, and deer. Families can enjoy hiking, picnicking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and dog walking on the ranch's trails. The ranch's Western Town, which was destroyed in the 2018 Woolsey Fire, is being rebuilt and will feature modernized structures that can be used for filming and recreational events
