Lake Ouachita State Park is a beautiful destination for outdoor enthusiasts, offering 40,000 acres of clear, clean water surrounded by the scenic Ouachita National Forest. The park features 93 campsites, including some right on the water, as well as eight fully-equipped cabins with kitchens and the comforts of home. Visitors can enjoy swimming, skiing, scuba diving, boating, kayaking, and fishing, with opportunities to catch bream, crappie, catfish, striped bass, and largemouth bass. The park also offers picnic tables, swimming areas, and a marina with boat and kayak rentals, bait, and supplies. Historic Three Sisters’ Springs is located in the park, and there are exhibits and a gift shop inside the visitor center. Interpretive programs such as guided hikes, eagle cruises, and kayak tours are offered year-round, making it a great place to visit with family and friends
