What to expect

Mica View Trail is a great place for families to explore, with a easy stroll through the low desert vegetation. The trail is just under a mile one way and can be accessed via either entrance. It is also the most wheelchair accessible trail within the Rincon Mountain District of the park, with packed dirt along the trail. The trail is dog friendly, but there are also other trails in the area that are not dog friendly, such as the Mica View, Cholla, and Cactus Forest Loop. This loop trail is a 3.8-mile loop that takes an average of 1 hour and 12 minutes to complete and is considered an easy route. The terrain is mostly flat and easy, and the trail passes through a saguaro field with mesquite and cholla, offering beautiful views of the surrounding desert and tall saguaros
