What to expect

Slide Rock State Park is a 43-acre park located in Oak Creek Canyon, 7 miles north of Sedona, Arizona. The park features a natural water slide formed by the slippery bed of Oak Creek, as well as tall red rock formations and a working apple farm. Visitors can enjoy hiking on one of the park's three trails, including the Pendley Homestead Trail, Slide Rock Route, and Clifftop Nature Trail. The park also offers picnic areas, fishing holes, and wading pools along Oak Creek. The park's natural beauty and outdoor recreational opportunities make it a popular destination for families and nature lovers. The park is co-managed by the Arizona State Parks agency and the United States Forest Service
