The Phoenix Zoo is a 125-acre zoo located in Papago Park, Phoenix, Arizona. It is the largest privately owned nonprofit zoo in the United States and is home to over 3,000 animals, including more than 1,400 animals on display. The zoo has four main themed areas or 'trails': the Arizona Trail, the Africa Trail, the Tropics Trail, and the Children's Trail.
