What to expect

The South Rim Trail is a scenic trail that stretches for over 13 miles along the rim of the Grand Canyon. The trail offers stunning views of the canyon, including the Colorado River, Hermit and Granite rapids, and the Tonto Trail. The trail is wheelchair and bike accessible, and pets are allowed. There are 14 shuttle stops along the trail, allowing visitors to hike part of it or all of it. The trail passes through several viewpoints, including Hermits Rest, Pima Point, Monument Creek Vista, The Abyss, Mojave Point, Hopi Point, Powell Point, Maricopa Point, Trailview Overlook, and Yavapai Point. Each viewpoint offers unique views of the canyon and its surroundings
