Jacob Lake

Jacob Lake is a recreational area located in the Kaibab National Forest, Arizona, and is the gateway to the Grand Canyon's North Rim. The area is surrounded by towering Ponderosa Pine trees and offers opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and birding. The lake, which occasionally fills with water, has marsh areas that are great habitats for birds. The area is home to various species of wildlife, including the tassel-eared Kaibab squirrel, found nowhere else in the world. The nearby Grand Canyon National Park's North Rim is 44 miles away and offers abundant wildlife, hiking trails, and unparalleled views of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World
