The Mascot Saloon is a historic saloon located in Skagway, Alaska. It was one of over 80 bars during the height of the Gold Rush in 1898 and became the longest running saloon in town. The saloon has been restored to its early 1900s appearance, allowing visitors to step back into time. The saloon features a fancier bar than most, with beer bottles on display that are replicas of the brand distributed by the Mascot during its heyday. Examples of stronger spirits are also available, and cigars were for sale. The saloon is now a museum, and visitors can learn about saloon culture during Skagway's boomtown days, how the building was restored, and about many of Skagway's colorful characters. The building is ADA accessible, and audio description services are available. The saloon is a family-friendly destination, and everyone is welcome to visit
